i spent friday night hanging out with some members of the cell at Settlers after work. was feeling rather wore out while on the way to clark quek station. all of a sudden i just crave for donuts from Donuts Factory, seeing that the bus i was on passes by novena square where apparently a donut factory outlet is located. i alighted without a second thought because there was still time. thank goodness the queue wasn’t too long, donut factory is well-known for its long queues at outlets such as raffles city and suntec.  i guess i was pretty lucky that day to join a rather short queue.  most of the customers buy in boxes of 6 or 12 and when it comes to my turn, i said i only wanted 2 and instantly i become the odd on out. but i was simply just craving to have a taste of their donuts.  i got my 2 donuts pretty soon and i saw Alina sitting at one corner with a friend. what a coincidence. i gave her a wave as a sign of greeting before leaving. before i start to indulge in my donuts, i had to get rid of the troublesome receipt and in the meantime keep my change of 2 bucks as well. but the “great” thing was that i was so distracted by the donuts that i threw both the receipt and the 2 bucks away! i discovered that when i was at the train station and i was fishing all my pockets desperately for that 2 bucks as i needed it to buy a single-trip ticket. gosh i cant believe i actually threw away 2 bucks along with the stupid receipt, it was the most dumb thing i have ever done that week. never mind, but anyway i reach my destination on time and i’m pretty proud of that.  was kinda disappointed at the number of people present, i reckon because it was rather a last minute thing.  we played this board-game which i couldn’t remember the name, you are supposed to track down this criminal throughout  a certain section of London by means of public transportation,  eg taxi, bus and underground. kevin started off as the criminal first. under the decisive command of xian jie, we managed to corner kevin and nabbed him eventually. franco joined us at a later time because he had a job interview earlier on. he came and he shared about his time at the interview, it sounds pretty positive and that he should stand a high chance of being employed. coincidence no 2, the waiter who served us is actually a long time friend of franco. because of this rare opportunity where they bump into each other, his friend bought him a bottle of beer.  we stayed till 10 plus and decided to head home because of a wedding ceremony next day morning.after reaching home and bathing, i was so tired that i headed straight for the bed. after a short while i was awaken by an sms from eeli asking if  i wanna meet her tml because most of the other guys are heading there early to help out. yea i replied ok and instantly went back to sleep, that is how tired i was.i almost overslept on sat morning but still i managed to make it on time, phew. i played cheat, i took cab.  i met up with her at the mrt station. she was wearing a red top with black pants and the first thought that came into my mind was that, are we going for new year celebration?me: hey u know u look like a giant red packet?eeli: really ah? thankssssme: you are most welcome. ( grinning)cut the whole story short, its the first time i stepped foot into st andrew cathedral and i;m quite impressed by the interior, a church with a long history, thus it had the traditional church look and feel.  michelle the bride was simply beautiful and victor the bridegroom looks real smart and handsome on this big day. i’m glad to have shared in their joy along with the other invited guests.  of course after the whole ceremony, i did saw some friends whom i’ve not seen in a long long time. eg May, Theresa, Lorraine. everyone was well dressed and , handsome guys and gorgeous ladies. yea pretty interesting. i didnt eat anything because i was turned off by the long queue. i became a fruit punch barrel by drinking cups after cups of fruit punch.yea i met june after that, had a short catch up with her at great world’s mac-cafe before she left to watch a movie with tina. basically that’s my sat. hopefully this coming week will be better.
